natural wood

natural log slices are cut from the unwanted and discarded branches left behind after pollarding, pruning and the felling of trees. they range from very small twigs to large branches. no living trees are harmed in the making of these crafts!

processed wood

sheet materials and planed timber are wherever possible repurposed from previous lives. some in building work such as small leftover sections of timber that would normally get thrown away or shuttering and unwanted laminate flooring. The odd palette is used from time to time and dilapidated garden chairs. They make great pot stands!

crushed glass & plastic containers

crushed glass and concrete crafts are made using repurposed plastic items to form the moulds such as plastic cordial drink bottles,

Pringle crisp tubes, Christmas pudding bowls and swizzle lollipop containers.

I know Pringles are not really crisps but you know what I mean!

glass wine and beer bottles, olive oil bottles, jalapeno jars and many more. all are crushed and used as aggregate within the concrete then polished to create the stylish finished surface.

We have some new exciting ideas to repurpose other materials that we are currently working on.
